Photography isn’t just my career; it’s my passion. My grandpa was a professional photographer back in the dark room era. He shared his love of photography with me from a young age so I taken photos as a hobby since I was in middle school. For my wedding he gifted me a professional grade camera and lens, he encouraged me to follow my heart and make my passion my career. I quickly started my first brand, Nikki Boros Photography. Over the years I have learned family, wedding, pet, boudoir and just about every type of photography, trying to find my niche.

After almost a decade boudoir has stolen my heart. I love helping women feel amazing in their own skin. These days about 80% of my bookings are boudoir so I created Southern Honey Boudoir. If you need photos that aren't boudoir, check out my other website at www.NikkiBorosPhotography.com.

From capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments to crafting sessions that feel like a fun hangout, my goal is to make every experience memorable, relaxed, and uniquely you. Whether we're laughing over a shared love of scary movies or swapping funny stories, I’m here to make your vision come to life—with a dash of sparkle, of course.

Hi there! I’m Nikki, the heart (and camera) behind Southern Honey Boudoir. Let’s dive into the good stuff, shall we?

First off, I’m a proud Colorado native who packed up the snow boots and high-altitude coffee addiction in October 2020 to set up shop here in Tennessee. My husband and I have been partners in crime since 2016, and together, we share our home with our two fur babies, Ace and Axel.

Before our big move, I ran a large commercial photography studio in Colorado. But when we settled here, I traded the hustle and bustle of a commercial space for the cozy charm of our bonus room—now my home studio. This setup not only keeps my overhead lower (hello, budget-friendly pricing!) but also creates a private and comfortable environment for my clients. No awkward moments dodging mall shoppers or sharing a space with strangers—it’s just you, me, and the magic of photography.

Let’s talk about something important: feeling comfortable in front of the camera. For many people, stepping in front of a camera for the first time can be intimidating—and that’s totally normal! That’s why finding a photographer you feel at ease with is so important. I pride myself on creating a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere where you can let your guard down and truly enjoy the experience. In fact, most of my Google reviews highlight how comfortable clients feel during their sessions and how much they enjoyed the process. My ultimate goal is to transform any nerves into confidence and make your session a fun, memorable experience you’ll look back on with a smile. You will arrive as a client and leave as a friend.
